Hello, I’m Alesha Blaauw! I am a social media manager and multi-skilled journalist with experience in writing, photography, videography, multimedia, graphic design and speaking on camera for social media and broadcast content. I specialize in creating content geared towards service journalism, community event coverage, politics and arts & entertainment.

I started my journey in journalism as a student staffer at Sacramento State’s newspaper, The State Hornet, and progressed into a leadership position as the social media editor. As the world of social media continues to grow and evolve, the central objective of my work is to create content strategies that will reach your target audience, build a relationship with them, expand outreach, and maintain consistency as the algorithms continue to change.
